This is the place where you can personalize your profile!
But, how?
By moving, adding and personalizing widgets.
You can drag and drop to rearrange.
You can edit widgets to customize them.
The left side has widgets you can add!
Some widgets you can only access when you get a premium membership.
Some widgets have options that are only available when you get a premium membership.
We've split the page into zones!
Certain widgets can only be added to certain zones.
"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!
Now go forth and astound us all with your devious profiles!
I have long been fond of those Nauceans: it even inspired me to do my own race and website ([link]) Anyways, i was wondering: how do you draw your creatures? Are they scanned in, or are they done on illustrator with live trace? I have illustartor cs3 i think, but i don't know how to make my creatures look good, like yours!
Any helpful explanations/tips will be extremely helpful!
When i scan my images into photoshop, they normally go all horrible and fuzzy, so i normally transform my pictures into vector artwork. Do you do this? When i was looking throughout your gallery (Which is very cool) i noticed it didn't appear to look too computerised, if you know what i mean.
Thanks for the tips and hints by the way, i really appreciate it.
P.S. Are you still into drawing creatures/spore related stuff? I'm a huge fan, and thanks to the Naucean i decided to create my own site! [link]
Nope. I just set my line drawing layer to "multiply" and then color with layers under it. At minimum i have a line layer, color layer and 30% transparent shade layer.
Not as much for specificlly Spore howver I do an alien ecoystem project called "Sagan 4". If you would like to join we would be happy to have you.

Feel good now.
Are you planning to write a book involving it? Or something like that?
